The First One is an all-time classic, that got more and more attention throughout the last years: We are talking Tailoring, Coats and Leather Shoes. “Dress up” is the spirit. The Maison Margiela FW24 Campaign showed how to do it best: An oversized Blazer with padded shoulders and preferably nothing underneath. If that is too cold, just throw on a High-Quality white T-Shirt and you´re good to go. The most important thing you have to consider when choosing the right T-Shirt for layering, is the material and the neckline of your piece in mind. The T-Shirt shouldn’t surrender to the layers above. It has to stand it´s ground. You don´t have to be too conservative with the T-Shirt choice. Choose one with a Print if you want, so you have a statement piece when you put all those Layers off. And as if we developed our T-Shirt with all this in the back of our minds, it actually checks all these boxes.
Another takeaway from the passed Fashion Weeks in London, Milan, Paris, New York, and Copenhagen is the ongoing Moment of wide, high waisted Suit Pants.
Good Tailored Pants with a pleat can do a lot for your Outfit. Make sure they are a little high waisted and you give them some room to shine, by choosing a slightly cropped garment for your upper body. The things mentioned above all kind of fall into the same Moment, that can be best described as Office Wear, Smart Casual, or Clothing from a Guy taking the Bus to his finance Job in the early 2000s. But make it a bit more “High Fashion”. Use light materials, maybe even see-trough fabrics, or distressed clothing.You must find some kind of Balance between ugly and chic. This Moment marks the third Keypoint of this Trend Report. Accessories such as a Keychain on your Belt or an ugly printed Cap are your friends in this case. Frameless Glasses are also a thing you might consider getting. Or Sunglasses. Just keep in mind that your greatest style inspiration should be somewhere in between Anna Wintour and a Bus Driver. Dress up but dress down.

Loafers are continuing to gain traction. In fact, they might be here to stay. Although they are a classic, that never actually went away…
The big moment of the classic leather slip on pathed the way for Chunky Suit Shoes, such as several variations presented in the recent Prada Spring Summer and Fall Winter Collections, Derbys, especially with a Moc-Toe, and even Biker Boots, which might be a bit more versatile than the recent Cowboy Boot Trend.
